Judah and The Lion Manchester Concert reviews
I will never give Godsmack a Dime again
Shinedown absolutely killed it, I had never seen Judah and The Lion or live before.
I was super excited for this show, however, Judah and The Lion really let me down.
Following Shinedown, Judah and The Lion came out and played roughly 5 songs in a row. I was like awesome, this is going to be amazing.
Then Sully basically stopped the show for like 45 minutes to discuss his new hair gel, thank the crowd, and to basically play an elevator music jam session for both a Drum solo and a drum battle with the other drummer in the band.
All of this would have been really cool if it didn't take forever. We were there to hear Judah and The Lion play their music.
I love their music catalog. Judah and The Lion, on the other hand, made me feel like the band stole $$$ from me.
This totally used up a large portion of the time for the show.
But when the 45-minute break in the show for the hair gel, thank you's, and drum jam session without playing a song made it feel like that since Judah and The Lion was in front of a home-town crowd they could simply mail it in.
First let me say, I would totally go see them again.
I've seen a ton of shows in my 40 years on this planet, and this performance was hands down the worst concert performance I have ever seen.
